Look who turned {2}

I can not believe that Alissa is already two!  It just seems like yesterday that Jason and I found out that we were having another baby.  Time goes by so quickly.

Just look at this beautiful girl.  Can you believe that she posed this way on her own.

We had some rain on her birthday.  It was the first rain for 6-8 weeks.  Don't you just love how they shared the umbrella!  Jordan is such a good helper.

Jordan was excited to help celebrate Alissa's birthday.  Look at those beautiful blue eyes!  He is such a handsome boy.

She had quite a time figuring out how to unwrap her presents.

BEAUTIFUL girl!

She sure loves her daddy!

I have a wonderful husband and two great kids!  Such a beautiful life.

I'm a Big Kid Now

Yesterday Jordan had his preschool graduation!
I truly can not believe how fast time flies.

Isn't he handsome....I just love this little guy.
Sorry for the blurry photo.  This was captured by a friend, regardless of the quality it is to cute not to post.

Here he is with all of his friends from Book Nook

These are his sweet teachers: Ms. Noelle and Ms. Lezlie

We are so proud of you Jordan!  What a tremendous blessing you are to us!

To My Valentine {1 Day Late}

You mean so much to me!

I am so thankful that I have a man that I can share Valentine's Day with {even if it means staying at home with our sick little boy}.  It is not the amount of money that is spent or the creativity that is expressed that makes valentines day special.  Those things mean nothing if there is no true, long lasting love to hold them together.

It has been almost 12 years since we met.  You have loved me faithfully through all of those years!  For that I am very grateful.

I love you so much, and look forward to our next 12 years together!

Yours,
Angie

Eye Candy

Here are some sweet pictures of my precious kids at halloween!
Isn't he the cutest fireman you have ever seen?
Just look at that cute little girl!
I absolutely love my kids, they make me smile.
Here are a couple of pictures of them playing outside in the leaves the other day.  Jordan had a blast.  Alissa, well, she was not to sure what she thought of being thrown into a pile of dead leaves, but she had a good time anyway!

Love to All,
Angie

Happy Fall

So, yesterday Jason and I were talking and came to the conclusion that neither of us really enjoy Halloween.  We do allow the kids to dress up and do a little trick or treating, but it is not something that we decorate for or go overboard on.  On the other hand, we both LOVE fall and we love to decorate for fall.  It seems to be the one time during the year that our decorating styles match!
In celebration of our love for fall, I thought I would share with you some images that evoke some great memories and excitement for us!

This beautiful wreath can be found at my-country-home.com

Nothing warms like warm apple cider.  If you want to try this recipe, it can be found at:

Truthfully, this last picture is probably not one that Jason would be a huge fan of, but it is definitely one of my favorites.  I love the white pumpkins with the baby blue vase.  I think it is absolutely adorable, don't you?
It can be found at countryliving.com
I hope all of you are enjoying this season, such a great opportunity to witness God's creativity.  He is such a great artist!

A little more about White Washed Comfort

Our logo is finished and we just love it!!! It reminds us of Isaiah 61:
...The Lord has annointed us to...
bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of {His} splendor.
That is what we want white washed comfort to accomplish.
We desire to display the splendor of our Almighty God to our customers & friends.
