I just have to document this so that later in my life I remember.
Jordan is such a well spoken boy. Most of the time I am completely amazed at his grammer. He does really well using the plural form of words at the appropriate times and he has a very broad vocabulary. But one word he has always said wrong is blanket. He has always pronounced it "blanklet". It is so cute that we have never really corrected him.
Last night, after Jordan, Alissa, and I had finished reading our good night stories, Jordan was sitting beside me in the rocking chair. He was, for all practical purposes, asleep. Then all of a sudden he, very sweetly, said "Mommy, I am cold, can you get me a blanklet?". It was so sweet it just made my heart melt.
One day I am sure we will teach him the correct way to pronounce blanket (we certainly don't want him to be ridiculed for that) but for now I'll just let him pronounce it the way he wants to!

Loving Every Minute
Here is our sweet baby girl at 6 months. Forgive the picture. It's not the best, but all that I have at this very moment. She weighted 17lbs 12 oz. at her 6 month appointment. Wow, has she grown. We are thrilled to hear her start to make lots of sounds. She has been testing out her vocal range. Sometimes she is real low and other times she sends out a very high squeal. Her word at the moment is dadadadadada. I'm not sure if she really knows she is saying Dada, but one thing is for sure, she definitely loves her daddy!
Just thinking about all of the changes that have occured in our family in the last year makes me feel so extremely blessed. I am so thankful for my husband and his love for our children. We were all in Jordan's room last night while Jason read a story to us. How fun it is to have moments together like that.
I'm not really sure if anyone reads my blog, but if you do I wanted to pass on the link to my sisters blog it is keckblessings.blogspot.com. Check it out if you have a chance. Amy is constantly updating her blog with things that are taking place in her and Jeremiah's life. She is much more consistent than I am and I know she would love for you to see it!!
Love to All,
Angie
